The state of the art R & D centre at Baroda, led by a growing team of dedicated scientists, aggressively drives new product development as well as process innovations and improvements. The centre has already introduced an impressive array of new products. R & D efforts in the flame retardants segment has led to an in-house development of a new environment friendly process for which the company has been awarded process patents in Korea, China, USA, and India. Solaris has emerged as a trusted partner in providing high value, complex advanced intermediates to the international pharmaceutical and crop protection industry.

A multi-purpose pilot plant enables scaling up new products and processes from grams to kilograms. The adjoining commercial plant is equipped with various reactors, including glass lined and stainless steel reactors, of different sizes. This enables further scale up from kilograms to multiple tons of a wide variety of chemicals.

Our strong R&D focus, and intense marketing efforts, supported by a strong sales force, has allowed for a robust product pipeline with new products in different stages of development and commercialization. We continue to enhance our capabilities to bring new and creative products to our customers and end-users.
